This afternoon at 5pm we will have a session for parents and guardians that need help navigating the Hawkins County Schools App. Feel free to come out and join us!

We have two opportunities for parents and guardians. If you need help using or downloading the Hawkins County App, make plans to come to one of the sessions. The first one will be Thursday, Feb. 1st at 9am at CHIS. We will also be available the same day at 5pm for an afternoon session. Have a great day!

Hey CHIS Students and Parents! We will kick Friday, Jan. 25th, off with a 7:45am pep rally! Parents are welcome to attend the 2nd Quarter House Games tomorrow at 1:30pm! Don't forget to wear your house shirt and colors! We can't wait to celebrate our students tomorrow!

Parents, thank you for your patience as we have returned to school. I know this has been frustrating to some, especially when transportation has not been available for all students. As a reminder, if your child cannot access transportation, please call the school and exercise your parent “bus note.” We provide up to six of these per year and in addition to these, we will work with you if your child’s absence is due to transportation. If you have questions, please call your school. Again, thanks for your patience. Matt Hixson

Hawkins County Schools will be on a regular schedule tomorrow. Please access the updated bus route link at: HCK12.net/buses. Again, if your access roads are not safe for travel, please be in communication with your student’s school site.
